metaTower is easy to get started with, simply grab a stable release from download menu to the right for your operating system and run the application. metaTower will function out of the box. For more information on how to full utilize metaTower check the wiki.
Packages are what metaTower installs and runs, similar to a program on your computer. You can simply drop a package into the packages folder and metaTower will load it, or use the Package Manager to browse and install a library of packages for free!
metaTower.net provides an easy and free way to login to your tower from anywhere. Your tower will report your latest IP and an authentication key to metaTower.net so that only someone logging in with the latest key is granted access. This provides added security and eliminates the need to keep track of your home computers IP address.
